Skills Made Easy is a unique programme which helps small and medium sized businesses throughout the Sheffield City Region to grow and develop their workforces by accessing the right support at the right time.
The skills based programme provides practical and impartial advice when it comes to recruiting apprentices as well as helping to overcome skills shortages by offering access to a wide range of training programmes, usually delivered at no cost to the employer.

Since the programme was launched in 2013, Skills Made Easy has helped over 1500 businesses throughout Sheffield, Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham, Mansfield, North East Derbyshire, Bassetlaw and Chesterfield.
Total People is one of the largest suppliers of work-based learning in the North West of England. As a company, we reinvest all surplus revenue straight back into improving our training initiatives. On our last inspection Total People was awarded a ‘Grade 2′, placing them in the top 15% of training providers in the entire country.
Currently supporting over 1800 employers and 4500 learners, Total People is organised into occupationally specific areas, each of which has competent and qualified Training Advisers with a wealth of knowledge in their particular field.
YTP Ltd was established in 2000 with a Board of Directors made up of two members representing each of the four boroughs in South Yorkshire - Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster and Barnsley. The organisation was initially set up to liaise with the newly formed Learning and Skills Council on behalf of Training Providers, Charities, and ‘Volcom’ Sector organisations in the South Yorkshire area.
The idea was that YTP could act as an independent body representing the interests of its members covering a variety of Educational, Training and Skills issues, with the former LSC (now SFA).

CITB or Construction Industry Training Board is the Industry Training Board and was established on 21 July 1964
